Hi Tony, long time friend. This boat is really got me wanting to get back into things ! I figured your customer lives down the street and you might know how this setup is doing. I'm curious to know if the skeg make a big diff too. As usual you never cheapen builds and I like that ! Always a joy to read your right ups, thank you, Randy

      Hay Randy; Howzit ?

The first Cheetah I built made my customer happy until he lost his pond and had to sell. I built myself one right after that and just love it (and it goes pretty well without four motors ; one's just fine ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl5ebHR6wR4

Another one on the bench going to a customer back East - I do think the large hardware helps it stay planted in the turns

I found out the same thing. Likes about a 6"-6 1/4" rudder or it spins out

Thanks Tony ! and kfxguy :) when build day comes this will help out. I will more than likely mirror your build Tony but with a little diff style :) I am wanting to braise together together an aluminum oil bath enclosure for a T180 ..... You know if I didn't have to pull half my batts out at 2011 (or was it 2010 lol)SAW I would have had Q offshore

Tony, Randy finished the Cheetah using the .250 skeg strut and I'm trying to figure out the best adjustment. The roostertail in your video got me thinking that I should drop my stut down. I haven't tried a 3 blade prop yet, but that might be the trick as well. Here's the thread... http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...-Cheeeze-Build
