    BOAT STANDS!!! Picture Request

Hey guys, im looking to build some new boat stands out of pvc tubing. i just wanna see what you guys are using.

If anyone has a very versatile design where i can stack boatstands on top of eachother and are a breeze to carry around, thatd be sweet.

    thanks in advance.

i don't think the dimensions would help. it is made just for these boats.

This design lets me put two boats in the same workspace.

You can find some good build Ideas on stacking stands at Jims boat dock. Those gas guys really stack the boats up to go run!

This is a discussion forum that covers all types of radio control model boats. Gasoline two cycles engines primarily are covered but we have sections for electric power and nitro as well. If it moves on the water we have a discussion for it!

                      Tasmanian boat stand

Here are 2 pictures of the typical Tasmanian boat stand. Both plastic boxes are screwed down to the tubing so they are always there. If you do not have room for two boxes just fit the beer box as this is most important and needs to be bigger than the boat parts box.

I never drink until after the boating but I was having a little fun in Photoshop and thought I would add the sign to the boat stand. I also wanted to show it is easy to add a little storage space to a boat stand for props, tape, spanners, hex keys, infrared-thermometer, spare battery and even BEER.
Mate I am a Camel. If it is wet I will drink it. Fosters and Bud both put hairs on your chest.
There is an old Tasmanian saying that says "beauty is in the eye of the beer holder". As long as I am drunk my wife is beautiful.
