Catamaran rudder & prop build kit Need Help

Hey guys,

Just purchased one of these from R2

I'm super knew to this and learing little by little anyhow it seems I'm having trouble getting the prop shaft to fit properly through the the small attachment pipe on the rudder mount. Does this have to be specially pressed in? Greased in? Or is it just crap that I bought thats not working together?

Any help is appreciated super newb here lol,

P.S. The prop is slotted and dosen't even fit into the slotted nut it comes with I assume thats suppose to go together with no prob...

First of all the strut is backwards try flipping it if that doesn't work get back with me

Thank goodness for forums lol that seems to make sense, I'll give it a shot when I get home. What do you suggest for the slotted prop and nut not fitting in together?

Hi, I would suggest not using the Bullet Prop nut if you want to loose your props. Use a regular Lock Nut. Regards

Flipped the strut around....everything sits perfect thanks a lot, now to mount this thing and set it all up, any idea where I can find info on setting these things up on a cat hull? I see billions of servos out there any idea what type would work for that rudder?

I use the traxxas water proof 2075 servo!! T o mount the rudder bracket on the rear of the boat, is that what your talking about?
