12s 2p is x4 6s no? or is it 12s 2p per side? would then = x8 6s (wow) thats about 4kg in battery. Not worth pushing that much

Yes and another Drambuie , looking great.

For the best handling i would switch the prop to outside drive and what size props are they ? I use x457 Andy Brown cut to 54mm.

Hope to see inside photos and ofcourse a video.

          grtz

          Michiel,

Nice boat and powerful setup............WOW, Neu 2215 on 12s2p!! Yes, 12s2p is two 12s packs in parallel or 4 6s packs two in series and parallel to the other set of batts. Very nice, I'll be following this one!!
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

I'm still tossed as to why would you put x8 6s pack in a small boat like that? I'm assuming it's around 54" ish? My 6s packs weigh 865g each.. So 8 of them? I think it will struggle with all that weight, maybe 12s 1p per side, that will still let you push it hard with some high pitch props. Beautiful looking boat though...:)

Michiel, thanks for the advice, after checking out similar boats I did notice all the props rotated to the outside. Keep you posted on prop selection.
