Nice motor mount setup Paddy :)
Is that your design or Randy's?
Whats the power setup going to be?

It is all Randy's design Heath. I asked him for a 100 mph boat and this is what he is making for me. We all know 100 mph does not come in a box but he is putting in all the things that have been used in boats that have gone beyond the 100 mph mark. Anything after 75 mph is new territory for me so some very careful testing will be done once I get past 3/4 throttle.
but I have to about the motor. I can tell you it is a Neu and it is one of the 0.5 variety. The can size might give you some help.

The motor and mount are just being tested for fit in this picture...

return the motor and get the 8MM shaft version, that looks like a 5MM shaft version
the 8MM has much better bearings. also the larger diameter means that the bearings wont be moving as fast so there will be a lot less "drag".

Good call. I had not noticed that when looking at the pics. I will talk to Randy about it.
I want to build a special boat stand for this boat when it arrives. I will get you to do some of your custom vinyl graphics for the stand when I do it if you are not busy. You do good work.

                      Stealth,
I wish I could answer that. Randy Naylor is building it. I would ask him for you but he is busy building boats and getting things ready for your Nats. You could ask him if you want. My building has not progressed past ply and epoxy so please forgive my ignorance.

Looks to me like mold release hasn't been fully washed off yet ....

I think you might be right Ghost. Randy once used the same main hull to set a record that was later taken from him*. The sponsons are a newer design but the main hull is the same as that boat so I guess it stands to reason he makes a mold first.

I agree with that. I have a good one on my NS 3 mono boat stand...

I will PM you when I build the stand and talk about what I want and I am sure you have a few decals of your own that would look nice. I forgot to ask Steven for some with my last order. Guess I will order something else just to get some OSE stickers.
