    HPR 135 Build

Hello All, For those of you who don't know me, My name is Paul Benn, I live in upstate NY just outside of Albany. I have been following HPR boats for quite some time, and I finally got one :) (thanks Manuel and Hanspeter) This will be one of my biggest ventures in RC boats, I have built a lot of gas boats, But this is my first "big" electric build. I welcome all comments, and any suggestions. The setup will be, HPR 135 "bullet Proof" hull, twin NEU 2220 1Y (1090KV) Twin Schulze 40-160 (old version) and will probably start at 8s for sport, 10s for SAW racing, My motors won't be ready for awhile, and the ESC's are off to Germany to have new caps put on, This build will be a slow one, sorry but I work ALOT... As of know, I am focused on installing the drives, rudder as of know.IMG_0716.jpgIMG_0714.jpgIMG_0717.jpgIMG_0715.jpg
    Thanks Paul

Congrats Paul, very nice. Looks like she'll be a mean machine with lots of power...
If you welcome comments and suggestions, may I suggest you take your time and pimp her up the best you can with all the cool trimmings, as it only cost time to do things nice :)
Also if you get tired looking at her, pass her my way.... hehe not that I'm into ex-girlfriends but in this case I could make an exception :)

Thanks guys for the compliments, nata: Yes I will defiantly "pimp" her out, I"m having trouble finding the carbon fiber panels I"m after, 3 different suppliers so far, and no luck. I want the pattern to be as close as possible to the inside of the hull. If not.. I'll have to make my own.

Have you thought about going blue, silver or red carbon?? That could look nice with all the black carbon inside. You got a lot of black with motors also being black......just a thought

Nata: yes I think I will do a color, just trying to decide on witch one, I have 4 different paint schemes in mind, And would like to carry the flow of the paint scheme into the hull itself, so many decisions!! I would have had all the drives, rudder, and hydraulics mounted by know if I had ordered the right nuts

Thanks Chris, No word on the motors yet, ESC"s are still in Germany, Right now I'm still trying to hunt done carbon fiber panels, I've tried 3 different suppliers and when the carbon came in it wasn't the same pattern as the carbon in the boat, I believe the boat to be 6K 2X2 twill, everyone that has panels for sale is selling 3K or 4K. I might have a lead with ILLSTREET carbon fiber, (I've done business with them before) but there not to quick to respond, I have everything except motors, esc's, and carbon.
Ahhh the waiting game, gota love it
