    Vegas Deuce / UL-1

Well this is kind a fun build, and I've been wanting to do this for a while now. It's simple and alot of you could do this if you wanted.
I've gutted a Deuce hydro nitro boat, and modifying the hull to accept a UL-1 canopy, electronics and hardware. The deuce lid weighs alot 9 1/2ozs, and is not water tight.
    It Should make a good LSO or P-Sport boat...I'm betting better than a UL-1 - we'll see

I cut the nose off the Vegas hull, shaped a balsa block to fit the front shape of the wing, all the way across the inside and glassed it in.
I'm about to cut down the UL-1 hatch to fit. I'll have to add some material either to the hull or to the lid.

Just about there, I have a few issues with the UL -1 hardware not bolting up. I'll have to mod them too...

Man... I'm impressed with this boat. It's no stealth hydro, but it's scale looking and competitive. Did I mention it's a much lighter, faster and better handling boat than the UL-1 ?
Well it is.(I've had three of them)
If you have a old beater UL-1 gut it, and try this - you would be surprised.
