So, I got the boat yesterday and it was one of the ones with the mechanical speed control :/ Anyway I got it primed and in the process of taking out the inner compartment. Im pretty much gonna be copying Make-a-wake's latest build if he's ok with that. I read his Villain threads religiously. The motor is a 3665 2150kv and ill be running 4s.

Look thru the posts as you have said you've done for step by step. First thing is to take everything out, Then cut out the inner hull leaving about a 3/4" portion left around the top.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? I think thats a stub shaft and you need a flex with square drive, get one of these:

I asked his address to mail him a charger, and he lives 5 miles from me!!!!!!!! We went boating today and he did very well for his first time running, he drove my Pursuit 4082 and one of my brushless Villains..................very good job driving!!NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? Its been a while, but I've been really busy with work. I've actually had thus stuff a while, just haven't had time. Got everything except a rudder, prop, a speedo, and lipos... I think. Gonna start assembling this weekend hopefully. Make-a-Wake, I may need your help with this.Comment
