It has been a while since I ran my renegade, and I ran it today, man I forgot how fast it was, it was flying, handled its own chop pretty well, didn't flip it, just a nice fun run without any problems. That is how it should be. Still have yet to buy a x632.

Update to this thread
Well Ace is on the road home from a visit with us and we went and drove the rigger with a new battery. Well we broke one plastic prop but as luck would have it we had a backup so here is a video of it.

Yep, ran it with the y531 plastic, and it was good till a blade broke off, so I swaped on my x430 and it was still quick, and again still yet to buy the x632.
I also bought a new battery because the TP1320 one wasn't putting out the power, so I bought a Hextronic from Hobbycity that 1300mah and 20c so it fits the power requirement better the the 13c Thunderpower battery. It was a blast to drive.Twin power =Comment

In the process of wet sanding her out, and going to freshen it up a little bit. Seems when we painted it the paint warped the wood slightly so it got a little wavy here and there and I think some of the foam seperated from the wood in places. Don't get me wrong the boat still looks really nice, if I built another one it would be perfect and better.Twin power =Comment

Here I have wet sanded the tub, the tape is for protection for sanding out the sponsons because they are getting repainted. I have also taken some skin off the one side sponson because its where I ran it in to a bank and the wood was bad there, and I dont think the skin got enough glue anyways so its time for some fresh skin and a better adheasion. I got some tape on there holding the epoxy in the sponson boom holes for more strength.
I'm in the process of greatly reducing the amount of wires in the rigger.
I just saw the v2 thunder power batteries and they look really nice and have much better specs and price then the original ones, looks like one of those is in the line up.
I think I am going to remove the fan from the boat, because I think the vibration of the motor messes with the little fan keeping it from spining.

here is the sponson with some new ply and a much better adheasion this time, not sure why I didn't glue it better, this time I coated the entire surface area and used a busniess card to spread the glue everywhere so now there is 100% contact with the foam and the wood and glue. Everything is rough sanded, now just need to fix a few imperfections and do some medium sanding and prime to see where its at, then finial sand and paint. After that is done I will finish the polish on the tub.

Here is a before pic of what the sponson looked like before I started the repair, thought I had put this pic in, and realized I haden't
Here is another imperfection that is just about gone now, I was able to get most of it off while wet sanding, its 98% better now.
Here is the bottom that was a little wavy after paint (and probably the glue not adhearing properly due to me), it now looks much better after wet sanding it, it helped smooth out the wavieness (spelling? lol)

here is it ready for first coat of paint
Here it is after a few light coats of paint, now i'm going to let it dry really good, then wet sand it and put another couple coats of paint on.
I'm trying to figure out what prop to get, I know the x632 detounged is the ticket but I heard something about a cutdown v935 is a rocket, any imput is appreciated.Twin power =Comment
