    Futaba 3PK Throttle?

On my TPSPD2 tunnel with SV27 motor and ESC I am trying to get it to not pop out of the water right at the beginning of my trigger pull. The boat runs great in all other aspects with good speed and turning but right at the beginning it pops up too much. I thought maybe I could program the radio to change how much power is at the beginning of the trigger pull. BTW, I am using a 45X55 prop, should I maybe drop diameter to a 42X55 to accomplish this? I have read all I could online but everything for throttles pertains to using a throttle servo for gas boats. I have read the 3PK manual on TH-EXP but I can't follow what it is telling me. They show how to adjust things but do not explain what the adjustment actually does in the real world .

well since the esc uses a std servo signal...I'd try the minus button (mild) to soften the throttle tip in.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in
