    Mmp rapid build

Here is the start of my new MMP Rapid Build. Quality and workmanship of the hull is fantastic. This one is carbon fiber with Red gelcoat. The pictures do not do it any justice. All I did was wet sand the hull, then applied the MMP decal set. I then clear coated with the UPOL Clear. That is a great product if you have not tried it yet.
I have started gathering the necessary parts for the build, but at this point, I am missing the motor mount which I'm now waiting on from Herve. So be great with those Tenshock VZ2250 motors with MGM Compro Controllers, Speedmaster Stinger Drive and a center mounted rudder assembly. I have never been a fan of them but with this narrow hull their is not a lot of options.P1020260.JPGP1020261.JPGP1020262.JPGP1020263.JPGP1020264.JPG

Very nice Brian, I like red gelcoat, blue is cool too. You don't need to sand before using clear coat?

                @ Chrisg81983

Can you post a pix of the 2028 mount ?

I am considering a pair of 2028's with air cooling for a future project.

I am a newbie as far as wet sanding a finish, so Please guide me a little.

I think that 600 is ok.

Brian, is this the U-POL clear #1?
