Turnigy Taipan build

hey, ordered a Taipan hull from hobbyking along with 2848 3900kv motor, 2s 4000 mah LiPo.



Will try to make as much hardware my own as i can, and decorate the boat as a military patrol boat.

For propulsion i will use a Robbe Z-drive (if it aint too big) , its a steerable outdrive for surface piercing
propeller.

Made a watercooled motormount while waiting for the hull, using a lathe.



Tips appreciated, still newbie

Z-Drive was way too big, this hull is insanely small.

Decided to go with a standard surface drive and offset rudder som made some trimtabs + rudder out of aluminium
