I ended up destroying their tube/strut assembly. So I mounted up this 1/8" Strut I had lying around. I had to alter the strut by drilling it out 3/16" all the way thru. Im using 3/16" OD brass, 1/8" prop shaft w/ .062" wire.
I got the strut mounted and left room for adjustment. However it appears to high. Once I epoxy the stuffing tube in there is no coming back and no adjustments.
Should I just move the stuffing tube down? Approximate height of centerline of prop shaft of the flat bottom on V?
Should I just ditch the strut and get a stinger- if so which one for 1/8" shaft?
