    Larrys H & M Hydro

I recently bought this from a forum member. Its Hydro and Marine SS21 hydro. Its 30"L x 14"W. I recieved it with a primered hatch that had the turbine removed an the hole closed off. I believe the original owner did the mod and he did a very good job, so, Ill leave it alone. The center of the hull was black, then painted white. I used CitriStrip to remove the old paint, taking it to the gelcoat. Right now, Im in the body work stage, so, Im open to opinions for color combos. I did pick up some "Bahama Blue" and VW silver from the parts so, but Im not too sure I like the combo. Here are a few pics to get going.

The hull has an Etti motor mount and wooden servo mount installed, so they will be used. It also had China man hardware and a homemade turn fin. The hardware was discarded in favor of Speedmaster 21 strut and rudder. Ill use the fin, as it has plenty of potential. It also had a .150 flex and brass to fit, so that came out too, for a new 1/4" brass stuffing tube and .187 flex. I also filled the transom holes from the old hardware. This hull defintely has a ton of potential and should be alot of fun to build and run.

Another member sent me this link trying to help me out while I was searching for info on this hull. I was much abliged, but it ended up being the same boat I just purchased. Guess the guy was the original owner and builder. Anyway, this is what it looked like originally.

            Larry,
May I see a pic of her bottom? I'm wondering if she bears any resemblance to the H&M Viper bottom.

Sure Danny. Here is a pic of the bottom and a couple more top pics. The hull has been sanded top and bottom. I also tried my hand at filling/hiding the seam. The hull itself is done, so all thats left is the hatch...then paint. I still cant make my mind up if I like the color combo I bought. Im really more of a red and white guy, so we'll see if I like the blue.

A Neu 1521/1/Y on 6s and prob end up with a 180 esc. Im kind of undecided on the esc. I have a SF 240 reserved for my Sniper, thats really physically too big. The esc will mount under the cockpit just in front of the motor. I just have to lay a few things out and see how its all going to fit. It should get with it with the bigger Neu.
