Brushless motor on 3s in a crappy toy hull :)

Hello, first post here :) I always liked boats, and started with a wooden hull and a brushen 540, it didnt work very well so i got a plastic hull (60 cm long, around 24") took out the dual brushed 400's so i had an empty
    hull.

First setup was a brushless car motor, Leopard 540 3300kv on 2s LiPo, surface drive, and offset rudder.

Was ballistic atleast i thought, but maybe 30-35 mph?

But i didnt use a flexshaft, with the prop on a slightly down angle the boat leaned towards the side due to
torque. Another thing i noticed was rudder pickups arent good for low speeds

So now i rebuilt it using submerged drive, put the rudder int the middle behind the propwash (offsetrudder is crap in my opinion if your not racing, worthless turning on lowspeed) and repainted it.

I used fine sand paper on the hull

I tried the submerged setup with traxxas titan 12t (550 brushed) and it worked
so now im waiting for hobbyking delivery:

    Turnigy 3665 2300kv
    Birdie 70 Amp watercooled ESC
    LiPo Nano-tech 3s 3300 mah (might try 4s)

Any thought or tips greatly appreciated

      Thanks :)

The hull is a cheap plastic one bought in the local hobbyshop (in sweden), i belivie it is similar to the NQD
boats you have in the US in quality :) Cost 60 bucks and came with no rudder, turned by shutting down one of the motors

But it is stepped atleast :)

ESC and motor is now mounted, and its pretty much ready for a testdrive, i'll get back with a video.

I need some advice though, were can i find propellers for submerged use? Most (all) speedboats seem to use surface drives, unless FSR-V of course but those props are way too large

Graupner do submerged props in a wide range of sizes.
