With everything in place it looks empty if something is missing even with the big 5035 , ETTI 200esc and 2 10s lipos.
I also made a compare hpoto to a 4035/800 so you can see how big the 5035 is.
Update, The No Mercy is almost ready for the first run but i have to wait for the prop to arrive Prather 265 SS .

If you mount the batteries beside the motor and put your kid in the front it wouldn't look so cavernous. And he'd enjoy the ride. Just run a smaller prop.

Thats not very safe , i`ll ask him but dont think he would . .
Looking to build out a No Mercy in the next couple of weeks with one of Hobbyking's milled aluminum jet pumps (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=13388 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HT6r1NWS-qI) and possibly a bit more powerful motor and lots and lots of batteries. Not really sure about a motor as the pump doesn't have any specs listed (53mm, 4 blade impellor...). Was going to use twin-inline 57 cc zenoah from Performance Unlimited but this thread got me thinking electric. Will spend the next few hours gobbling up motor info.
The boat will be used in an experimental commercial fishing application in Alaska. Not looking for INCREDIBLE speed (30-40's is mooorrreee than enough) but I definitely need quick, responsive acceleration and ability to move around in 1 foot chop at to low to medium speeds without flipping. It will probably idle in the water 60-70% of the time, and only be used in 20-30 minute sessions with ample off-time to recharge.
I'm a little worried about trying to make a delta plane to accomodate the jet, as I hate to tear into such an awesome hull... but a prop-less setup is essential to what I'll be doing.
Sorry, to hijack! I'll make a proper thread once I get the nerve up to click "buy" on some essential parts.
Anyhow, hurry up and finish so I can learn more! =]
What was your turn-around time like for that mount? Very nice...
I have a question for make-a-wake. I was reading your boat list below your post and looking at 50..60.. 70mph boats,, then I get to the *45" Dumas Scarab Leop. 4082 6s2p 33mph ???
33mph? is that a typo? i'm not familiar with the boat but with 6s2p leopard 4082 shouldn't it be faster? or is it the boat size? just curious.
