OK!! I have attached some pictures of the rudder setup. As always I spend a long time looking for the logic. I went down to the local sports fishing shop and got some 0.8mm stainless steel, "black plastic coated wire" (should be good for 120lbs) and some leader sleves to match, pulled it tight around a ball nipple and clamped together, used some heat shrink to cover the join. It may not look the best, but I sure cant pull it apart. Then just ran the wire into the servo through a piece of antenna tube. (watch out for water on this part!!)

Oh, had to drill the nipple out to 3mm to fit the MHZ rudder system. Also cut the MHZ supplied ball link down. (you'll see the dummy hydrolic ends sitting closer to the rudder)

Here are the battery mounts, I will install them after a few runs. Not knowing COG I dont want to take any chances. I will use some tape velcro on the plate itself and maybe replace the middle screws with counter sunk, so I dont damage the batteries.

I have this thing about water and electrics, dont go well together! so I water proof everything. I'm using liquid electrical tape to water proof the ESC's and also the hull "where I drill". The reason I use it in the hull is because its thin (compared to Silicone) and also because I can remove it completly if I need to take something apart. here is a picture of the drivers waterproofed.

The black on the stuffing tube is Automotive Paint, I thought it looks better than bras :) also installed the cooling lines from pick-ups to motor to ESC's I find that the motors get way more hot than my ESC's so they get the first cooling.

Will post about the ESC's how to waterproof a bit later I'm also doing a set of cap banks for the esc's. I have ordered a set of 450/3 L/R props for this build hope its not overkill but I'll try 4s first to be safe. Still some work to do but just thinking ahead.

Happy New Year to you all!!! If you are there yet? In Australia it comes around sooner than others. But hope you had a good one anyway.
Just thought I would sneak in a picture of the almost complete hull. If I had any props I could do a test run grrrr. I also managed to put together a cap bank. Not too sure about those but I use some 1000uf 35V, 3 for each side???

                        SHE'S DONE!!!
only need to drill the water outlets and connect the tubes. (not sure where I want them yet) Time for a test drive when the props get here.
Will send her off in a few weeks to get a nice paint job.

Don't know about record time just wanted it done over the holidays. I did cut out all the
Mounts a week in advance so just had to make all holes and glue together. I have to admit that it has been a fun project and can't wait to get her in the water. Will keep you guys posted.

Very nice work indeed! What do you use to remove the liquid tape?

Hi Camel, and thank you. You can just pull off the liquid tape, not "just" but it will come off by pealing it.
