I know what you mean about finding new homes for boats! I bought one of your 1/10th scale 8255 kits over a year ago but ended up not building it. Can't seem to find a buyer! Good luck with your left over ps295's.

        Jim,
Sorry to hear you are leaving FE. Those little MiniCats were what got me back into the sport after many years of nitro with my son.
Are you going to keep MiniCat Racing going?

Thanks Patrick. Yep, Mini Cat Racing USA is alive and well. I just can't physically handle racing anymore.

As you can see, the kit list has gotten smaller as I mailed out 5 kits late last week. I am awaiting payments on some of the others. I was also shorted 6 kits in my last laser order, so my guy is working on those. 3 of those kits will go to the first builds on the list. Once that begins, I will be doing a lot of pics, and talking about the build on this thread, or may make another thread were replys or quotes are not allowed on the main page so its a continuous build thread as I don't want anyone confused. The instruction manual will be built off that thread. If anyone else is interested in a kit, or a build, please just ask or PM me and I will add you to the list! I am also going to work on the other size hulls this week too. Mike

Sorry, you were on my master list on my word document, I forgot to add it over to here! Yeah, I have a build list and kit list that is 3 pages long right now. Something like 33 hulls to build, 8 cowls to make, and like 33 kits either on a drawing list, or to get ordered for customers. Pretty busy, haha, Mike

I hope so, there is a lot to make, and a ton of designs in my head. Be on the look out for the other sport hydro sizes, thunderboat hull, a Q rigger, and an FE crackerbox kit. and much, much more! Mike

Pics of Danny's Spirit of the Navy Sport 20. I offered him my personal hull and he asked for a cool paint job, so here it is! I will get more pics with sunlight shinning soon so you can see the metallic as it looks so good that way! There will be a Winston Eagle paintjob on one of the future hulls I have to build. I don't even know which paintjob I want for myself now, the Navy looks so good!

For the builders, remember to sand the edges of all burnt marks if any. Glue will not stick to carbonized wood very well or at all.

That is true, The good thing about the laser cutter I use is his "ash" is very minimal. I find a light sanding is all that is needed. I tack the hulls together with CA, the come back and coat all the interior with West Systems epoxy to do permanent protection, and bonds. Mike
