    Darin's Prather 31" Mono with Outboard(s)

OK guys... I'm about to send the check off to pay for this new acquisition... A guy on International Waters is selling this Prather 31" Deep-Vee to me. It was originally setup for a single outboard (Nitro)...

Once I get it, I'll look it over and decide for sure which way to go, but here is what I'm thinking... If the hull appears to be sized correctly to handle it, and it will look "right", I'm thinking of mounting TWO Pro Boat Stiletto outboards on here, each powered by a Pro Boat 1500KV Miss Geico power system (two 4S1P packs, two Stiletto 60A ESCs, two 1500KV Miss Geico motors)...

If the hull looks a little small for two, then I'll cut that in half and just run the one outboard.

What do you think? I don't have ANY experience with this particular hull. All I know is that it's been around for a LONG time...

Every now and then, you just have to do something for the fun of it... this will be one of those projects!

I suppose, if I could actually make it handle and work correctly, it WOULD be a fun toy for some "just for fun" P-Offshore...

It may be time for an intervention........

Just kidding, I am sure it will be a fun project. Years ago Prather has some pretty decent OB Nitro mono's running around that were a hoot.

I don't see any reason you could not electrify one given reasonable expectations.

I am with you Tony, It takes me months/years to build something for my self.

I am shure a single will be all you will need, I wonder if you can keep the hopping down. they bobed a little with a nitro setup.
