    1/10 Scale Bardahl

Just finished my first model from scratch. With the instruction from Mark Beatty in Washington State I finally completed The Green Dragon. Boat weighs 4lbs 8oz. Has a BJ motor, .078 wire drive and X447R prop. Mark would not let me quit when I got frustrated. By the way I have never met Mark we met on the internet. I built it to race. DON"T THINK IT WILL HAPPEN

All but 2ea 2s 45c batts. My Timex that Mark built is 4lbs minus batts. I started detailing the dummy motor and the Bardahl gained weight. I used Thin CA instead of fiberglass to seal the carbon fiber cloth. It saves a ton of weight. Gales.jpg

Thats pretty light about a pound less then mine but I could probably drop mine by about 1/2 pound if I used a different cowl and dummy motor.
Nice work now get it out and see how it runs. I am in process of trying to fine tune mine.
