Thanks Jerry!! I hope to have it ready to run in the next week or 2. If the weather holds up the way it has been lately i'll be able to get to the pond a little earlier than expected.

She's just about ready for her maiden voyage!!! I've got all the electronics and hardware in and ready to go, one disadvantage of the inline "strudder" i've found tho is you have to take the rudder off each time you pull the flex shaft for grease. Also, I've got a couple props to try, one is a X444 TFL and an Octura X447, still think the X447 is to much prop but we'll see. I have a few tweaks here and there to do and i'm gonna go thru every nut and bolt front to back to make sure it's all good and water worthy, but other wise it's almost done. It depends on how bad the road is heading out back to the pond as to when i'll get it in the water, hopefully with in the next couple weeks!!

Thanks! Yes i plan on a video for the first trip to the pond, my buddy will be there so he can hold the camera lol! I'm kinda on the fence about the hatch, i got a little carried away with the paint i think lol, when i look at it off the boat i love it, when it's on the boat i'm not overly crazy about it but i am happy with it!

Already posted issues i had with the boats first run in the general forum, but i thought i'd add a pic of the boat at the pond with at least the water behind it lol. As i stated in the other post, no video due to the fact the drive dog was slipping and it created a free wheeling situation, didn't get to run it very far but just about 50'. It ran well tho for those few feet lol. So, at least it's been in the water, i'll fix it and give another try next weekend.

                    Hi,
                    She look very good,
Just a tip, On your rudder take out one bolt and swing it up to remove the flex.
                    ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

To add to Lenny's reply make sure your rudders lower bolt is a plastic one incase you hit something it will brake away and not bust the mount out of the transum!!!!

Yup, it does have the plastic break away bolt already on it!

Major THANK-YOU for that tip!! I just took the flex out to add a flat spot to the shaft, man did that make it easier to pull out instead of pulling the whole rudder off!!
