    TK's Slow MG build

Well I have been a long time reader/watcher of the forums. A couple weeks ago I got my first 'real' boat, a Proboat Miss Geico. This boat will be slowly built during winter as I still have classes/clinical's to attend. I usually run around a man made pond in front of the christian science center in Boston referred to as the reflection pool. Okay so the boat has some large dings and bruises from driving for the first time. I run all stock electronics and hardware but have a Seaking 180 (is this the same as a T180?) on the way. Also have a m445 in need of sharpening when the balance arrives. For batteries I run Turnigy 5000mAh 30-40C 2s lipos.

A quick video of where I run. Courtesy of a GoPro.

    Okay so hers the plan.
    1. Blueprint the hull. Flat and sharp.
    Sharpen, Balance, and Polish Prop.
    New 6.5mm plugs all around.
    2. Tear everything out. Carbon Fiber the whole inside. Have the cloth and epoxy all ready to go. Reinforce, reinforce, reinforce! Have a new carbon fiber motor mount and Servo mount ready to go when I decide to do the tear down. (I just love carbon fiber.
    3. Sand Down the hull and new paint/stickers.
    4. New motor. (most likely a 4074 as it seems reasonable in price and most people here from what I see are using it)

So nothing too radical here. This is my first build off a boat I just got a couple weeks ago. I hope to learn a lot building this boat and hope this thread may be useful for some one. So some pics before I sleep b/c I have clinical's tomorrow.

Suggestions would be appreciated. So blueprinting will be this week and then the tear down will begin when they drain the water.

Would like to thank everyone here for their wealth of knowledge. And much thanks to the MG race prep thread.

Okay got done sanding the spnson's and through on some body filler. Then started to sand it and sharpen the edges as detailed from the race prep thread. Trying to make everything nice and even will be the most painful part. Also will I waited for the filler to dry I started working on the prop and got sharp, balanced, and sorta polished.
