Naveed's dual Toysport Tritons !

Naveed raced NAVIGA in Great Britian. The stepped-hull Tritons with flood chambers were a common rig. For P-Mono in NAMBA, no stepped hulls, so Nav got a new no-step Triton hull to replace the Euro version. The new hull is wider and should be less twitchy.

Toysport Tritons are absolutely gorgeous, super solid CF boats.

First , to keep the CF theme going, I made a transom doubler from CF sheet

I finally found the perfect, deserving home for a Rearwheelin Randy CF motor mount that I'd been saving for such a project. To keep the CF theme going and come up with a clean, convenient mounting location for the speedy, I tapped the mount and put a CF speedy mount on top of the motor mount. ( This was a tricky move to get it perfectly located but it was worth the effort.) The motor isn't off center ; there's the flood chamber wall on one side.

Here's the shaft to motor mockup. I used a 9/32" teflon lined shaft stepped down to 1/4" to enter the Speedmaster stinger. There's a slight bend in the stuffing tube to avoid cable whip.
