my wife is driving me crazy about snow,,, i dont want it and hope we dont get any this year!!! afew years back i had a head on collision going to work in the snow so now i hate it.. but fun to play in on the weekends, hahaha
Here's one for your wife then Jerry http://youtu.be/uQvlI67dRmw
This was one of our local group yesterday instead of trail trucks.
Yep she'd like that ill have to show her when i get home and i can hear her now ( the little truck is messing up the snow) yep when we get some snow she will only let me and the dogs go in certain areas of the yard so we dont leave foot prints!!! And the front yard is off limits!!!
The 7/32" vacuum caps fit perfectly on 5.5mm bullets, that's what I use. While they cost more than shrink, they are far more robust, fit tighter, and don't blow away in the wind.
.
Scroll down to the vinyl safety caps - I use them on my 5.5's and they work as good as the shrink and just as cheep
i wil start one 40inches carbon fiber hull with 2 4082 and 6S.. do you think 2 x 5300 6S 45C/90C will handle?
what props will be iterested? i already have 2 blade 448
Which 4082's? Your batteries should be good. You might want to start with some 445's but you'll probably be ok with 448's if your kv is low enough.Under 1800kv.
1600KV.. what will be a nice CG?
I am new in boats.. i power up my genesis with a 4082 1600kv also with 6S and M645 prop (1 engine) and geting 110km/h on it.. but is very difficult to handle in that speedy .. i am trying to put the batteries back.. can you give some tips?
A m645,I'm just looking at that one.I think it would be a good one. What brand of motors are you running. And where is your Center of balance? To do this get a tube or something similar and place it under your boat on a table.Put all your batteries in the boat as you were running it.Where the boat balances on the tube measure back to the end of the running surface. I've got a pair of detounged X447's from Tiqueman to try this Sunday. Yay,good weather and not freezing.
I might even step it up to 5s.Picked up a new cam tonight so decent vid to come.
Well, tried 5s and some 447's today. There sure doesn't seem to be any fear of blowing it over yet.A little choppy in the corners though,I'm thinking stingers up a tad more.
Looks good Shawn. I cant tell in the vid how its trim is... only that its fast.
Hey there you are,It's a little hoppy through the waves and likes to jump out of the water in bouncy corners. No big fear of dumping over and no sliding.I hope it's not too heavy(that was my first CF interior.I'm thinking a little more pitch on the props. One thing at a time. All my temps are cool 103 on the caps.
