i got the trim tabs mounted up on the titan today and i am waiting for the rest of my parts from ose they should be here tomorrow or the next day i have everything for the sprintcat except lipos thanks to dasboata. i should be starting that build any day now.
i was just wondering if anyone had some imput on where i should mount the motor (leopard 4082 - 1550kv) front or rear mounted.
I personally like the motor up front more........................somewhere in the 30-35% from transom range...........batts aside and front and back movement is possible then.
Jkr- They are both aeromarine one a Titan and one a sprint cat 90 I am using a leopard 4082 1550 kv with s seaking 180 with extra cap bank on the Titan
On the sprint cat I am running twin cc 1717 with two seaking 180's with extra cap banks
Both builds are done with all speed master hardware and will be runningon 6s

Thank you.
I was asking for the titan.
I recently bought a 40'' hull OHIO STEEL (Dragon Lady from mhz i supose) and was thinking for the 1600kv leopard on 5-6s 2p

i am almost finished with the titan build i have all hardware mounted battery trays motor mount and servo mount mounted i just half to run the cooling lines inside.jpgmotor installed.jpgservo mount.jpgfins.jpg
yeah i did because i felt i could get a better layout to better adjust cg and have a shorter drive cable plus i never had a rear mounted setup i figured i would try it out and see how i like it
I got to ran the Titan today it went real well boat was fast and real stable I just half to dial it in a little more and then start to play with some different props I will have some videos up tomorrow
