Sliced up sons old boogie board. Figured being new to rc boats..and wanting to race too...that I'm going to need to be rescued ALOT! I have a few pond on the island to practice on. I have a ton of stuff from my years in edf jets, planes, heli's and am going to try to patch this boat together with those motors and maybe a cut down airplane prop or use ducted fans.
So far i've just duct taped the outside of the hull...going to epoxy the sponson supports in and cover rest of boat in tape. It's not meant to look good ..just do the job. Probably will use my 550 bl hacker motor, 45 amp esc and run on some old lipos.
