Wow..............thats cool!! Are the x450's real close together. Seems like those would be on the large end of what you would use anyways.

Those are from about two months ago, I have done alot more work since that I dont have pics of yet.

I started with 47mm 2 blade props but was sucking in too much air at low speeds and during accelration, so I decided to switch to 50mm 3 blade props which work much better.

The thing runs great, turns on rails, and I get about 10 mins of runtime on 3p and and top speeds in the mid sixties. Very low temps even after a full run on both the motors and ESCs.

Ill be posting the current pics and hopefully some video soon.
Here are a few more older pics.

The stingers are spaced so that the 50mm props have about 10mm in between them. I was gonna go closer but I didnt want to add any extra bend in my flexshafts.

Not entirely sure, but i think you may be better off with the props spinning the other directions.....................any thoughts anyone?

I think outward rotation is the right way to go much better handling than inward so i think hes spot on.Great looking build by the way, cant wait to see some video.

Inward gives excellent straight line stability... but funny curves :p

I dont think that is true. Not for cats anyhow. I'd just try it both ways and see which works best for you.

Well although ive never tried either way personally almost everyone ive spoken to who has says outward rotation produces better handling whereas inward produces slightly more speed maybe but bad handling (chinewalk been the biggest problem).I know this is true on my Navaho hulls as it has been tried both ways and outward rotation produced a much smoother ride with no chinewalk.Might be different on a cat as the props are usually further apart so less chance of one props wash hitting the other causing problems.

On my Jolly Twin I find that it does handle better spinning outward. I think the reason for it is that when you spin them outward, the direction has a tendency to lift the transom some, which plants the bow.

But what do I know!!!!! I do know that its pretty on the water!
