F1 tunnel build 2011

[F1 madness]

Got some done today,finished off all the construction of the hull now and started shaping /sanding it down,just need to do a small amount of filling and a final sanding down ready for sealer.

Well guys some pics of her all sealled up,the canopy has had another layer of fibreglass and resin,so now just a good old sanding down couple of bits iv spotted aswell and get it ready for paint.

Looking good as allways Daz cant wait to see it all painted up.Guys i can say Daz does great work and having seen two of his tunnels up close and having one sat here the build quallity is superb.

Just a quick update,the main hull is now in primer left it a few days to fully cure so will add marker coat then wetsand ready for 1st lot of colour to be sprayed.
Finishing canopy today and get this in primer so the build moving just slowed down abit now while waiting for paint & resin etc to fully cure.

yep hang it and spray it all in 1 go,for now spray cans till i get me new workshop sorted then will have a compressor and gun running.
I think for now might leave it white and paint the canopy & sponson tips in a different colour so i can get it tested as my mate is starting the CAD for laser cutting them,but obviously i wanna test it 1st,then any adjustments i need to make can be done before hand

Ican do that on the 1st laser cut 1,i just need to get it tested,should have the CAD work finished early part of next week,so would be good to try an get it tested this weekend or asap,then send the plans off for 1st cut to see how it turns out
