32" Pursuit build- from the hull up

This will be my first big real build. Never built anything like this before. Decided to build instead of buying the norm as I want to do it differently.

Here is the run down of what all I have:
    32" pursuit hull- white
Rudder- 130mm length. OSE-80050. It appears to be what normally comes on the pursuit.
Stinger- 3/16" 78mm long. This came from Fightercat and again appears to come on the pursuits.
Motor Mount: Carbon fiber 4-bolt 2-point mount
Driveline- I will have available .187" flex and a .078" wire drives. I have a question on this though.

    Motor: Leopard 4074 2000kv
ESC: Hobbywing 150A w/ cooling tubes installed
Prop: TBD- looking into an M445

COG will be 10" from the transom per Diesel. I will add some other marks to have some adjust ability.

So far I have the carbon floor down. Ive been told this is a must if you intend to run fast. I want to go fast so its a done deal. Still got plenty of CF left- I could do three more boats

Im looking to mount hardware today. If anyone could comment on rudder offset/placement on this beast that would be much appreciated.

My Christmas tree motor... Looks like something puked on it. Green motor can, pink cooler and orange motor mount...

And finally the hardware that was sold to me with the hull as a kit. It seemed a little to small for this boat. Also shown is the replacement hardware.

Ive slowly been working on this over time. Really stepped it up in the last few weeks. All hardware is hung and Im in a 3 phase process to JB Weld the motor down.

COG is 10" from rear. Batteries should allow me +/- 1" on the COG.

After motor is down Im going to set the ESC pad and batts. Then drill for water cooling and its off to paint, or test?

Glad you got this rolling again.I have one in the box waiting for me to get excited.I'm going 1515 and strut though.
How do you feel about the motor back a bit more so the batteries can sit in the bottom more?

I used JB Weld to put the servo, motor and stuffing tube support down. That stuff is awesome! I did epoxy before and things could come apart. Not the case with JB Weld. That thing is permanent and ROCK solid.

I did use Epoxy on the ESC & battery trays just in case they need to move.

Heres what I did on the hardware. Im not proud of it, but it works. I found a piece of sponge rubber. I cored out the center by heating brass tube with a torch and shoving it thru. Cut it to width and put it in there. There is drag on the flex shaft. Im going to have to do something different, like Speedmaster strut... Which I got already!

After doing this no more leaks during bath tub testing.

Here is how Im doing 4s2p:

Smaller one is a 5.5. These are made of 8mm bullets...

I just got done switching the strut out.

I gotta get the dremel 90 degree head so I can get a sanding drum in the hull to take out the epoxy from the battery trays.

Mine fell apart on my first flip... lol

My first run it hopped and then chine walked bad. Then it caught air fliped and the ESC and battery trays broke loose.

                          Maybe 30-35 as it was.

Im hoping around 50-55 when trimmed out and perfected.

Looks great man. Sorry to hear that the first outing wasnt successful.
I've notice on my pursuit that it likes a little pos strut angle and trim tabs to adjust the nose down. That being said mine is set up much different than yours.
