    Apache retrofit

I have gutted my Apache that used to have a Lehner 3080/12 and a Schulze 40/160esc in it and have replaced it with a 3080/11 and one of Fightercats 17/170 esc's in a more streamlined motor and mount system . the old configuration made it virtually impossible to get to the coupler without pulling the esc out first .

Here are some pics and a run vid should be up Sunday night hopefully

I sold the 12turn 3080 and the Schulze 40/160 will go to my next Sniper build , If I ever win the lottery I will buy you whatever 3080 you want - hows that

Here is a short video of the initial Apache run but my trim went way out when I tried adjusting on the fly and took it in the wrong direction . I would have to estimate the boats speed at 60mph + considering its size . all other runs after this one were flawless but no video of them

I like it a lot and will easily recommend it for a low cost Schulze 40/160 substitute , $190 is a hell of a deal for a ESC that can handle a 3080 on 14 cells and motivate a 32 pound boat well over 60mph without grenading , very programmable from a laptop with timing in 1* increments . forward and reverse with soft , med and hard startups and with 25% , 50% , 75% and full power settings both directions . Also lipo cell cutoffs in .10 volt increments . Plus a few other settings .

Ben is working on a even more powerful unit can't wait to buy that one .

Awesome! If my big boat motor mystem fails, that is the esc I am going to go with a LS if I can find one. The new esc looks like an option for a full scale electric vehicle. Now he just needs to find some motors to sell of similar cost and power levels.

they have tested the new ESC on 16S with the LS ina gas sport hydro hull and it hauls butt.

I have 2 of his ESC's and can STRONGLY recommend them as well.
I use either the laptop for programming at home or I can
use the programming box he carries for them at the lake. It has the same
                    programming as using the laptop.
