Hello everybody, I think I gotta really cool idea for myMiss Budweiser pro build.
Get a 1800kv outrunner.
Replace the shaft with a long shaft, to have shaft access on both sides of the motor.
Put a EDF about 75-90mm on the front shaft.
Using bud cans for material, form a turbine duct to go from the EDF to the exhaust port in the back o' the hydro.
put a collett on the rear shaft, and run a flex shaft through a small hole in the duct back to the prop.
I am plannin' on running 2 batterys, probably li-ion, way better than lipo.
Thinking of an octura X447 prop
In theory it should go like hell. especially with a decent EDF when on plane.
I thought it was a pretty simple idea ?
Seems I'll most likely be the first to try it.
What do you guys think ?. Got any motor, prop ideas for me that might be better.
Does anybody know what size the stock drive shaft is on this thing ?
