    hk genesis hull what motor

I came across a hk genesis hull today, could someone suggest a cheap setup that I could use with 6 cells to get this thing hauling butt?

That Turnigy T 600 outrunner 1400kv is a very powerfull motor & will swing big props so a good choice. Its still a cheap motor at $60 but they have doubled in price from a couple of weeks ago when i looked at getting one at $30. Martin.

I think 6 cells may be a tad high for that motor(HK 3674 1660kv), you may want to consider this motor OSE is now offering. Its a 4 pole 4074, try it in the 3Y version on 6s:

NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Yes just shows they read this forum as i got two of the 880 kv ones for one of my Apaches a cpl months ago and noticed the price leap.Still very cheap as you say and they are powerfull,a friend has two in one of my 58 hulls and its pretty fast for a big boat at over 35 mph so one with higher kv in a small cat should rip.

                  6S is ok for the Genesis with a single motor. Choose a 1500kV motor, LEOPARD 4082 2Y 1500 Kv/rpm per volt or 4D 1450 Kv/rpm per volt
