a 2P is two of the same packs in parallel, therefore twice the capacity (mAh) and approx double runtime. added weight and other variables will slightly shorten your runtime, but it will still be longer than with 1P

oh jeez, so I had to fish the thing out of the pond cause where I have the battery soldered to the power switch would pop off in about 20 seconds. Not fun at all. Then I finally got it running well on the 14T Losi BRUSHED motor and 2S1P battery and it would start dying really quick, I thought it was the battery so I changed them, started doing it again so I went to pull it out of the water and noticed the motor was smoking a bit. Turns out the motor was getting heat soaked. I let it sit for a minute and it would start cruising again. The LiPo killed the bilge motor, not really that big of a deal but still, lol. Then the power switch wouldn't work and it stayed on. Brought it home and turns out the solder joint I made again came off but this time it attached itself to the other side, so I think I am going to give up on the switch...

what the hell can I do about cooling this thing tho???

I doubt can cooling is an option being as thats how it is mounted to the boat.
