one of my hot rod building buddies was watching my boat run and suggested that I add one one of those fins even with the keel I have so I thought ????? what the hey I am just trying to dial this boat for high speed any way and if it works cool and if not it looks cool.

OK This thread has sat for too long without any attention, Sorry guys for not updating it earlier, Well I am about to start doing the paint work on this boat and make it look real nice, I just have to get through a couple other things first, but she will look good and I may just sell her cause I AM taking my experience of setting up electric models to new heights by converting a motorcycle to all electric, Others have been doing it so I wish to give it a try, may as well be able to ride my hobby, it should be fun, I will do a build thread on it in the INTRACTABLES forum when I finally get started, there are already a few there.

                  Back from the Archives

Hey all here is alittle update on the Nitro Hunter, I know I know it's about time Right well Here is something I did today.

I had made two videos of how to's and they both failed as I took too long so I am going to see if i can edit them and into two parts and post later.

I have been polishing the gear all up that is going into this boat. I have a 540XL 1800 Kva Motor and 120 Castle Creations Hydra .130 Flex and a Octura X438 metal Prop which will be balanced Sharpened and polished. I have her all coated with epoxy resin and placed some resin and fiber Glass cloth on the inside, I would recomend if you do this do it before you enclose the hull it would have been easier.

The videos re visited split into two

                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV3tPF8OOsA Part 1

                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxXcPpYNXGA Part 2

Success I now have the two videos of the Hardware layout,
Be watching for the Resin application and Fiberglass cloth video I have to split it as well, I have my warer cooling jacket all polished up and am waiting for my battery to recharge on the dremmel and I will polish the connections on the cooling jacket as well. I also polished the motor mount as well, and I have a bag O parts to keep me busy as well I think I am going to cut out some new turn fins out with the old and in with the new I think a little something a bit more stylish is in order.

Big Yawn I was up way too late last night getting these two vids ready

Well these could be a bit dry but there is some good information on how to apply epoxy resin with fiberglass cloth.

it reminds me of the 'el lobo 2' lasercut kit sold by i think climate boats

i will seriously be looking for one of those kit in the future.
