That was my next question, what props, im not shure if those are even good for it. Ill measure them next weekend. Im going to go w/ 5" of setback on the rudder because the speedmaster stingers are abit longer than the kintec ones, so i think i need the extra room

Update time,
last night i removed the old motors and other stuff in the hull and reinforced it with some fiberglass:
then this morning i filled all the holes in the transom from the old hardware:
also i started making some of the scale parts for it, sofar just one part:
I would like to lay some carbonfiber in the hull, im looking at the carbon fiber/kevlar cloth from kintecracing, does anyone have any experience with it?-AriochComment

Arioch;
just use 120 grit sand paper and rough up what you did inside the boat where you want to put the carbon down.
use your glue you used on the other stuff and also get one of those very small rollers from Lowes, ect. (helps to use slow dry glue. )
cut the carbon to shape (use paper as a template), lay it in position, brush on the adhesive and then use the roller carefully and roll over the whole works to flatten it out and take up the excess glue.Comment

Hello!
I had the same hull!!! Been searching the internet for weeks and finally came across this thread. Thank you for posting.
Anyone know the exact make and model of this fiberglass hull? Is it Dumas or Graupner? I want to buy it again!
I bought mine from Franciscan Hobbies in San Francisco around 1985. Was inspired to buy it because of Miami Vice on TV. It was built up using twin Graupner Monster Hydrodrives. I sold it off in 2008 and regret it big time. Now I want to do it all over again.
Thanks youComment

Yeah, I pretty sure they are no longer in production but I still like to know who originally produced this hull. Do you know for certain this is Graupner?
With that info, I could begin scouring online for used hulls.
Picture of mine before I sold it. Hope you don't mind OP.
Thanks.Attached FilesComment

After much research, I discovered the teal colored hull pictured is not from Graupner or Dumas. It was made by AMPs International Hobbies out of Colorado.Comment
