    BBY's 8S rigger

I am building a rigger for S class (8S2P) Oval racing. I thought I would share it as I go this should be a rather quick build over the next two weeks. I will not be painting it but I will be installing the BBY hardware. It will be a 43+ inch hull. running a 1527 1Y Castle 240 HV, average to good 25C 5000 Milamp Lipo.

Well it sucks to have the internet down at the shop. So it is Friday night and I am just up loading the pictures for this build from the last two days.

The boat is a big one, not the biggest I have built. I have done several 1/6 scales.

trhe little rigger on it is 22 inches long, sorta helps see the size.

Looking good! How long are the sponsons, they look almost as long as your small rigger.

You are right they are 21.5 inches.

I got a little more done on the boat this Sunday. It was raining a little and we did not go to the pond and I felt it was good time to work in the shop. The rear shoes are made and mounted on the hull.

The hull is for the most part done, I now just have to build and install the hardware.

Thanks, I have a template that I hope to make this a standard Fiber glass boat in the future. It will be fun to see this boat fly!

This build is on hold for right now, I am waiting for the bearings from Boca to come in to build the strut. While I am waiting I am back on the Conquest build.

I will have the bearings for the 1/4 strut on Monday they got lost. The guy at Boca said I did not call him back to confirm the order and I remember on the 12th of the month calling him. Oh well I wanted to build the strut this week. But I did mold the sponsons so I can make fiber glass and carbon fiber sponsons in the future. Pictures to come later.

I got in the Bearings and we started the process of finding a drill bit or Reamer to make the strut. More to come!!!!Some time I feel like I am
