    Sprintcat .20/.40

Received my hull from Remy today. Very nice glasswork. 4"rails as well. Started building as soon as I got her unwrapped.
Setup will be CC/Neu 1518 Swordy 200 or T-180 (have both), 4 and 5s. Running a .187 cable and my home made motor mount for rails.

I bet the turbine hatch is a BIG pain to tape down, it's a shame 'cause it's MUCH nicer than the old hatch.

I've been torn about building one of these for a while. Can't decide between nitro or electric though, and don't really have a good place to run either at the moment.

I 'm still undecided on what I will do to seal her up. I'm either going to run a sub hatch, or mod the turbine hatch. I'd have to cut off the front of the cokpit and attach it to the hull, and seal up the turbine and build a lip in the rear to tape.

I like the idea of a sub batch, or even a radio box. The batteries and motor won't be effected by a little bit of water. I guess it all depends on how you plan to lay out the components.

Remy has started to fit the electric boat with a "recess" to accommodate a lexan subhatch. Not all of them have it yet. The titan 29 does. Not sure on the rest.

It would not have helped, he's doing them little by little.

Hey...the subhatch idea is great! I want to eventually switch mine over from glow to FE and I really do not want to run the "old school" cowling (offshore)...I like the turbine. I guess running "catch" tabs on the underside of the cutout and using a lexan hatch cover (to tape down) would be the way to go....
