Prop Size

hi,
building a new Mono. about 30inchs long.
im running a 5070kv 540s brushless motor with 11.1v 3 cell lipo.
what size prop should i consider?

It would need to be smaller than a X430 prop. That is the smallest prop I can calculate on an 540 8s motor which is 4436kv and using 115 amps. IMO this motor is not going to work in your setup. Motor heat will also be a big problem. The s series is usually used in hulls less than 20 inches long and a lower voltage for that kv.

cheers for the heads up i am kind of new to this and its my first attepmt at a real fast boat, i have since bought a new motor with lower KV and larger size i think it is the 540xl? either way i will post picts when im finished
