    Skidaddle TOO

After what seemed like a lifetime, finally finished. Not to bad for a old fart beginner.

In a couple weeks will start Skidaddle 20--have learned a lot, so should go smoother.

Gentlemen-thanks for your kind words, but even I can see the flaws--

Next time will take the pics from further away--close ups of something like this can be cruel, sort of like close ups of me!!!

First test run today--better than expexted but still a cpople problems, main one is that it has a 3/16 inch shaft, but can,t get 1 1/4 prop that will easily fit--poop-it's always something-

do you know how many people start to build a rc boat from plans and never finish? Take the props man you earned it looking forward to your next one keep building

Excuse my ignorance, but is the hull hand crafted or a kit that you assemble? It definitely has a personality that mass produced hulls do not have. I think the beauty is in the flaws. Nice work.

It is a Dumas kit--next one I am going to paint--natural finish is tough!!!

If the beauty is in the flaws, I am going to name it Liz Taylor!!

HI Bill What prop are you using ? You may find that a smaller prop will work better on a sub surface drive. Larry

Got my prop order straighten out--

Kudos to Steven at Offshore--he display great patience (at least outwardly) with my order and my misinformation. Privately I expect he was beating his head against the wall!!!

Larry-howsabout pics, or better yet a video--

Re: sk20--as stated in a different thread, I recieved anothe sktoo instead of the 20. Did not realize until already done with frame. Contacted Dumas--they offered refund of price difference-instead I opted for a discount on the DeepVee20 (they said they were out of stock on the sk20). Will build during the dog days of summer when surf fishing slows down.

My new build of the sktoo is coming along--almost ready to put on deck.
