    PIP Bittburger Cat

I finally got around to this project. I have installed the stuffing tube and motor. Just a few more things and it will be ready to run.

Over the winter we put a Leopard 4074 2200kv and a Seaking 180 in our Bittburger. Hope to get a chance to try it out this weekend. It had a Fiegao 10xl in it before and ran pretty quick.
My son has been bitten by the speed bug and nothing seems to be fast enough for him. LOL

Every time your Drambuie Bitt has come up for sale my son has driven me nuts about buying it. It's been hard to tell him no, it is one sharp looking boat!

I was planning on a T-180 as well set to 11 - 15 degrees advance timing.

What props are you going to try on it?

I think I will start with a M445 or a P-220 and see how it does.

I have everything installed and balanced the boat. I still have to make parallel adapters for 4S2P and program the ESC.

My son wants to try our Bitt out today. My son has wanted to run it since the ice melted but I refuse to go to the pond with a winter jacket on.
Let us know how your setup runs. Good luck and have fun!

Looks good greg but I think the front of that stuffing tube needs support. Just my $.02.

By the way, I ran a s220 on that boat and it ran great so I think your prop choices are right on.

I tried a M545 today. It jumped out of the water and had some torque roll until it got going. It hauled butt until I broke the flex shaft (forgot to start the Garmin so no max speed). I am going to sleeve the 1/4 tube and put a .187 flex in it and maybe prop down a bit.

We ran ours a couple times this week. Still trying different props and we also run a .187 cable. My son has been experimenting to see how tight of a turn he can do and not flip.

It didn't flip but it did spin out a couple of times.
