The wave shark has a pretty flat bottom, so lots lots of hulls with deeper vee designs will be better. The Aero titan 33 is nice because its long, but also wide. So its quite stable.

      Steven,
How tall is the transom on the wave shark?

I was in the same delema when I was looking for my first true FE boat. I run on Long Island Sound and needed something that could deal with the chop/waves/wind. I ended up getting a BBY Ovalmaster 29. I set her up with a 11XL and run 4S2P 4000mah Lipos (total of 8000mah). I am right around 40MPH and get almost 10 minutes run time on a M645 prop and nothing is even close to being hot. It is a great set up and pleanty of fun in the not so smooth sound. I bought this hull because it was cheap but when I get another hull I more then likely get the Titan 33, love the looks and being a little bigger has to help with waves/chop.

          Cheers,
          Jim

Frost both hulls mentioned in this thread are solid and pretty easy to set up with guidence from us here. For a smaller hull I like the OSE Raider. I have wanted one for a while but havent gotten around to it "yet". Keep in mind the larger the boat the higer the cost to power it

Thanks for the links Ready, but I'm looking for pictures of his build hulls. I surfed that site and personally cant seem to focus on the pictures very well.

you guys have been great help. iam thinking the titan 33 or 29 might be better due to the heavy chop .i want to go brushless this time, what set up do you all recommend . and if lipo batterys are the way to go.
