    What motor, esc, lipo's and prop do u setup on that triton?is it necessary to sharpen the turn fin?

    Mel
    motor = Neu 1521 1.5D
    esc = barracuda 125
    Lipos = 2 x 4s 4500mah 30c
    prop = 450/2 (prop in the pics is a P220, just for the pics though)

    It is necessary to sharpen the turn fin as well as the rudder if you wish to maximize boat performance and minimize drag.
    I don't run a turn fin quite that big anymore, and I also run a small fin on the left side now. I am pushing the esc pretty hard, or I'd prop up to a 452...then again, I rarely need more speed than I already get.

    cheers,
    ...and thanks Westbeach!

      Oh I see, no wonder my triton run when turning seem to a a bit jumpy, I'll sharpen it as sharp as a razor blade...LOL

      Im also going to downgrade my setup to 4s, as 6s too much esc's fried and motor d-magnetize, really take the fun away

      Thanks Corey for the info
