neu 1527 1.5y.... castle 240 hydra ice, 2 4s 5000mah 40c in series ....this is the setup we established to run with the rcu nitro guys

Getting closer. Got the colors and clear coat on the hull. Still need to wet sand and polish the hull and get decals on it. Need to do the salt water scoop as you can see from the pics I haven't started on it yet. Then get everything in the hull. Still waiting on my castle hydra ice from tower so I cannot run tell I get that as I already sold my castle 240 hv, the old style. But it looks like an oberto now, oh also I need to do the cockpit and driver, which I am hoping to work on a little bit today.

Ok everyone, its getting close to done. I hope to test this weekend so I have gotten everything back in the boat. I have a few more decals to get on it and I want to get the salt water scoop painted up and on, but right now its crunch time so decided to get it all back together and ready to test. I just ordered a bunch more batteries so I should have 5 or 6 sets to start the season with which will be plenty. Still waiting on my hydro ice 240, I got tired of waiting on tower to get them in stock so I ordered one from a guy on ebay and it should be here tomorrow hopefully. So when that gets here I should be able to fire it up and go.

Can you tell me the advantages/disadvantages of having the chamfer on the inside bottom edge of your front sponsoons compared to having a straight edge. I am building a 30 inch balsa rigger and am unsure of which option to take?

If those decals don't hold up for you let me know & I can print off a set for you so there is no small pieces I did a set for natenkw.
Waiting on him to finish the build so I can see some photos of it completed.

Or next time you do layered decals get yourself some laminate & put it over your layered vinyl & that will help everything stick better as well.

Thanks for the advice. I think these will hold up fine but we will see. I will keep that in mind though.
