Out of the box, they are slower than the Mini-V (not by much), but they are definitely more stable!

The x432 did cause torque roll in the mini-v, I don't expect the x430 to cause too much in this, but we'll see!

Put on your wool hat & mittens and go run that boat. I can't wait to hear the results of your efforts.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

They have to change the name because of MiniCat racing. I don't know when the rerelice will be.

                            Diego,

                            A couple of questions:

Is that the stock stuffing tube on the "Mini Cat"? Because it looks like you have a teflon liner with your .098 flex cable, and I thought that the OD of the liner would be larger than the stuffing tube. I am asking because I am thinking about doing the same flex cable conversion on a Proboat Apache Cat, which also has the 1/8" straight shaft in it.
Also, what is the overall length of the Ocutura Flex Hex you are using? I am thinking I may have to change my motor mount to fit it in the Apache Cat.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Good observation! It is Not the stock stuffing tube. I pulled it out and inserted a 3/16 K&S brass tube (Stock #129)
As for the flex hex length, I can't measure it because Davey Jones has this boat now.
I made a typo in my build thread about the tube size... going to correct it now.
