let the building start Mean Machine

Well I started to build her tonight. Do you guys build using CG measurments? I figured I would build to 32-33 % cg , I stripped the boat out, added pour in foam to the front to add some strength. I am going to add a lip around the compartment to seal it off with lexan .I have to get some C/F and My Lipos in so I can set up the motor and C/G of the boat any suggestions or criticism welcomed thanks chris

Layed in some C/F

I layed in some C/F 2x2 twill 5.7 oz , as recommended to me used west system and I put 1.4 OZ glass over the top of it to Insulate it. I built C/F motor mounts out .60 Vacuum Baged C/F (whatever you call it) stock . tomorrow I will install the motor and the battery mounts LMK what you think thanks chris

Have you considered getting an eagle tree data logger? They are a very useful tool in testing setups.

Once you get this boat dialed in the rest is a piece of cake. The FE guys here at OSE will be more than glad to help. I have been running FE for quite a few years and am still learning from folks here and probably will be for years to come.
