    SV27 windshield pattern

Looks like I posted this in the wrong forum since I am looking for information right now and not posting pics.

I am looking forward to re-painting a couple of sv27 hulls this winter. The first one has been stripped down and sanded. Anyone ever re-painted one of these hatches and if so how did you go about getting a factory type reproduction of the windshield?

    Thanks for looking.

try outlining it with pinstripe to get a fine edge then tape off the reat with regular painters tape slightly over lapping the pinstripe and spray it,,,going that route you can make your own windsheild...

You could make a decal window and stick it on. If your hobbyshop sells air plane stuff, they might have sheets of colored decal, its like $3 for a pretty good sized peice. Make a pattern with paper, once you get some thing you like, transfer it to the decal materal and apply to boat.
