ABC FIGHTER 550 brushless motor ?

Hi guy's for some reason i always liked my ABC fighter 550 boat and now i decided to make it brushless Here is the motor i am going to put in the boat and run on 2S do you think this will be good enough for this boat?
I know they are the small 380 sized motors in a 540 size can and i do have a 3300KV motor the same type but run it on 3s in my apatche 24 and it works well so i figure the extra KV will make the smaller 550 boat work pretty good.
what do you guy's think?

Now if memory serves me right, the 550 hull can only go so fast and above that is a waste of time. There were alot of boaters who have tried back about 10 years ago by using Trinity Chameleon Motor # 2122 and had to fall back on a lower rpm motor. I had those brushed motors with a long armature and they did great . Too much for a 550. Anything over 20 mph turned sour. They weren't designed for much upgrades to increase speed. That motor would work in the DF 23's on 2s due to light weight and shallow vee.

Yeah I actualy thought about getting the new Traxxas boat to kick around but things are starting to freeze up

yea in NJ it's all ice!! I got a widow maker 22 this year in the swap shop i got to run it once and i got to get that thing tuned also it hops wiggles side to side in the turns it can't take a turn for crap!!

Yea never looked on E-bay that stinks ... I like this little boat.
Hey Brushless I put the stuff in that tacon motor sounds fast! I used my watt meter on a 7.2V pack it pulls just over 8 amps free load with prop on in the air my widdow maker pulls a little over 9 amps but sounds like less RPM ...will have to do some testing... in a few months when the lake is not frozen!
