I like your Jig. real cool! Wax paper is OK but I wrinkle it. I like to use a lot of wax. parting wax is great for the application. I like the adjustably of your design

gluing the front half of the outer skin on

      gluing the rear skin on

      skinned

glued sanded and trimmed. going to build the tub tomorrow its coming along nicely.
notice the transom end how I trimmed it around the notch dont do this the overhang is supposed to be there! its not a big deal if your painting the boat but if you want a natural wood finish be careful!

well more progress got the tub framed up

opps see how the skin shouldn't have been trimmed so it would cover the transom.

now for my next mistake lol this little angle brace needs to be far enough back that it doesnt interfere with frame number 4 I had to cut mine a bit so the frame would fit. it doesnt hurt the boat just means I made more work for myself is all.

        other side done right

the frames have these little wedges to keep everything square be careful not all of mine were accurate double check before you tack the frames in!

ok on to the stringers they are marked no 9 start at the transom and make sure they are flush then work your way forward gluing them to the frames

the front of the stringers float free they do not glue to the side stringers marked no 8

then glue in the balsa block for the nose it will need to be trimmed to fit then sanded to shape. The block should look like this when your done

that's all for tonight more later

That nose block is just wide enough for my JAE21.
I will assume the errors come from building 2 riggers at the same time, since the 2 don't get assembled in the same way?

            Great job so far
