real life rescue boat

Does anyone have any ideas or links to a rescue boat? Not the kind to get a dead boat but the ones that handle rough seas with a tall free board. I would like to do one of these for waves at the ocean but have not seen a hull that would suffice. I'm thinking 30 inches would be sweet. Thanks for your input.

I think it is Pro Boat that makes a scale life boat and they can roll over and keep going if set up right. Look at the U.S. coast Gard they will have some good picks of them in 20 to 30 foot waves.

Not quite a rescue specific hull, but the Vac U Boats has some pics of their tug playing in some wake. It handled quite nicely.

I do not know if they still make it but it was called a ProBoat Coast Guard Lifeboat 30". I have been on the real one and there is nothing like it lol

Yep, they still make it but at 593 bucks it is a tad bit out of my price range. I wish Simon-O was into monos, I'll bet he could whip one up. Anyone out there thinking about doing the same thing, please let me know.
