Does anyone have any ideas or links to a rescue boat? Not the kind to get a dead boat but the ones that handle rough seas with a tall free board. I would like to do one of these for waves at the ocean but have not seen a hull that would suffice. I'm thinking 30 inches would be sweet. Thanks for your input.

Chuck E. That's the ones I remember seeing. That is what I want and thanks for finding the links. Now if I can find a hull, I'll be in business. LNP, thanks for the link but I will need my brother to translate it. I was thinking a brushed 700 with a steerable outdrive and a lead lined keel run on 3sComment

Not quite a rescue specific hull, but the Vac U Boats has some pics of their tug playing in some wake. It handled quite nicely.

Midwest makes a kit of the 47' lifeboat.
Also, check out Dumas for the 33' lifeboat,
