Put at least 5 full coats on & lightly color sand then buff & it should be really smooth & shiny!!!

Plus no one will even be able to tell they are decals if you build it up enough....

The paint on my mini-G felt like the skin on a basket ball (all bumpy, like billions of little dots) after about 3 coats it got smooth with no sanding then i did a wet sand and shot it 2 more times in the same day and it was good but i keep adding stickers so now i gotta do it again!!!! gotta stop adding stickers,,,

I did not originally scuff it cuz after many tries with the neon yellow it would cut threw in the corners so my first coat was light on top of the neon but yes i recomend you scuff your first,, i did use some wet/dry sand paper like 3 or 400 grit but not sure ill look when i get home tonight and find out for sure dude..

Preparation/Lightly sand glossy surfaces /clean with soap and water/rinse and let dry/ This is on the back of the can brushless and I would use a vary fine grite and wet sand,Your Genesis if it's already cleared, I'm going to test this out on my green sv27 hach this weekend if it get's over 50 F and I will give you a heads up!!! But when I did the longlite I dident sand the paint only after the secound coat of Lacquer/ Hope this helps bud!!
